Celebrate Christmas in the Sweet, simple way this weekend in Noble County! The historic Sweet Church, Mid-America Windmill Museum and Orchard Hill Farms offer memory-making activities to experience the joy of the Christmas season.

Sweet Church’s annual Christmas program has guests joining in for the singing of Christmas carols, the trimming of the tree and entertainment by Janet and Ernie Cook.

The windmill museum continues its dazzling light display through the weekend, with a live nativity scene on Saturday evening. The annual event has several new displays, including the first public appearance of the official Indiana Bicentennial torch and stars. The Kendallville Chamber of Commerce bought the piece, which is designated No. 1, to display at the museum and at the city’s fire station on U.S. 6.

Orchard Hill Farms is opening its doors for an apple tasting. Visitors may also make an ornament to adorn the tall Christmas tree in the store, which offers many locally produced products.
