Life As It Was

Wild Game Cookout

September 29 @ 6:00 pm - 10:00 pm

$5 suggested donation.  Here is the perfect time to sample wild game while learning more about local conservation efforts.  Goose, deer, dove, alligator, antelope, bluegill, rabbit, crickets and squirrel have been on past menus.  Conservation organizations and officers will be on hand to answer questions.  Stop by early in the event for the best selection of wild game.  All wild game used for the program has been donated by local hunters.

Pumpkin Fantasyland

October 1 @ 7:00 am - 7:00 pm

Open daily the entire month of October. Children and family will delight in the colorful displays of characters made from pumpkins and gourds. Corn and straw mazes to explore and special events on the week-ends. Enjoy a meal in the restaurant or just a pumpkin ice cream cone!

Fall Garden Work Day

Dust off those gardening tools and join GSP staff and volunteers as they work in Gene's historic gardens and assist with the fall cleanup. Staff will be on hand to help and direct volunteers as needed. Gardeners of all levels of experience are welcome.

Kendallville Apple Festival

Annual Apple Festival celebration features a variety of apple related food vendors, craft vendors, childrens' activities and games, and musical entertainment. An apple lover's dream. Vintage Market

"Experience the Heart of Kendallville" will sponsor a Vintage Market, boutiques and food vendors on Main Street in downtown Kendallville. Wander through a variety of displays for that unique item.

Hearthside Dinner

Join Richard Stone and members of the Stone's Trace Historic Society for an authentic 19th century evening of dining and fine musical entertainment.
