The eight big bison are here!
Join us Friday at 2 p.m. at the CVB office, 8983 N.350 E., Rome City. The bison will be pastured on the lawn in front of the Sower Barn for photos before they go home with their sponsors and artists. The four remaining tabletop bison will arrive via UPS next week.
Noble County will have a herd of 13 bison on display for the “Bison-tennial” public art project this summer, the most of any county in Indiana. They will be on display in June in Rome City, Kendallville, Avilla, Albion, Wolf Lake and Ligonier as part of the first-ever statewide public art project in the nation. The bison art exhibit is endorsed as a Bicentennial Legacy Project, led by the Indiana Association of United Ways.
The United Way of Noble County and the Noble County Convention & Visitors Bureau are partners in the county exhibit.
Community support made this possible. Thank you!
