Christmas in the Country events this week

American Legion Auxiliary: Holiday Walk buffet brunch, 8 a.m. to 10 a.m., American Legion Post 381, 611 Kelly St. Extended, Rome City. The meal is $5 per person.

Artisans Market: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Rome City Town Hall, 123 Kerr St. and Indiana 9.

Rome City United Methodist Church: craft bazaar of handmade items, holiday gifts and food, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Washington and Martin streets. Lunch is served in the café. Call 260-845-394.

Orange Township Fire Department: craft show, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., 101 Warrener Drive, Rome City.

Rome City Chamber of Commerce: Holiday House Walk, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The tour includes the Sylvan Lake homes of Dave and Kendall Billows of 436 Kerr Island Drive, Dan and Nancy Diggins of 879 Harbor Court, and John and Pam Lipasek of 1075 Pleasant Point, the Jones Lake home of DeLane and Diane Scott of 102 W. 1050 N., and the Noble County Convention & Visitors Bureau in the 1888 Sower Farmhouse at 8983 N. 350 E. Tickets are $7 per person. Advance tickets may be purchased at Rome City Town Hall, Nancy’s Cutting Room, the CVB or Limberlost Public Library. Tickets that day may be purchased at Rome City American Legion Post 381, Rome City Town Hall or at any of the homes on the tour.

Parkview Home Health & Hospice: 18th annual Festival of Trees, Kendallville Event Center, 615 Professional Way, to benefit the Noble and LaGrange branches of Parkview Hospice. Public viewing of wreaths and trees, 10 a.m. to noon for a suggested adult donation of $3; TC Dance performance from 10:15-11 a.m., East Noble High School, for a suggested adult donation of $5.

Parkview Home Health & Hospice: Evening Gala features cocktails at 6 p.m.; a silent and live auction; dinner and awards at 7 p.m., and dancing from 8 to 11 p.m. with The Brat Pack, Kendallville Event Center, 615 Professional Way.
